23 September 2011
320 European cities
The Researchers’ Night is a Europe-wide event bringing together the public at large and researchers once a year on the fourth Friday of September. This year it takes place on 23 September in over 800 venues of 320 European cities in 32 countries.
During the Researchers’ Night you will have the chance to discover research facilities that are usually not open to public (laboratories, research centres, museum collections ), to use the most recent technologies and instruments with the guidance of scientists, to participate in experiments, competitions and quizzes, to watch demonstrations and simulations, to exchange ideas and to party with the researchers. For one night, everyone can be a scientist.
